Retail

In our first few months being open for business in 2014, H4Distribution succeeded to get an opening order to a large national retailer with our Wellputt line. We worked with both the brand and also the retailer to find the best solution and pricing to sell in this product category. Since this order for Wellputt, we have succeeded to launch a commercial on the Golf Channel to drive sales to this retailer. To this day we continue to get reorders for Wellputt.

Tournaments

SKIMP has been a great tournament gift for various golf tournaments around the country. We have made a point to offer many colors for selection to the players in each event. The belts have been well received and the price point seems to fit in the budge of the tournaments we work with. We continue to get tournament orders based on referrals, when people see the belts first hand at a tournament

Unique Items

One year ago we were approached by LugLoc to focus on the golf market. Right away we saw the opportunity with this great product to serve a purpose to our customers. Not only did we see the purpose but we saw how unique this product was for our customers. One day, at one of the golf shops we work with, Jack Nicklaus walked into the shop and said “this is the most unique item I have ever seen in a golf shop.” He ended up buying 30 of them for a gift. How many golf shops has Jack Niklaus walked into during his career? Don't know the answer to that question, but it was great to see our vision of unique product ideas matching with the likes of the best golfer of all time!

Marketing and Building Brands

Although our DNA is in our name H4Distribution, we do more than your traditional Distributor. We are focused around building our brands within our segment. We spend many hours to work on this, as we believe the more we put into each brand the more sale we will see in return. For Argolf, we played an important role in developing the Tour promotion through the PGA Tour Champions Tour and also the vision behind the putting lab. We studied past putter companies and the success they had on various tours and after analyzing the different paths suggested we focus on the Champions Tour. This decision has lead to two wins in two years with this fantastic putter, one of the wins being the 2017 US Senior Open. In addition with custom fittings becoming more and more important in the marketplace, we help consult and develop a putting lab to fit Argolf putters. In our first season last year with the putting lab, there has been an increase in demand and being in a strategic place like Jupiter, Fl this brand awareness will only spread to the Northeast as golfers settle into their northern golf season. Argolf is now in the process of moving to a larger facility still based in Jupiter, FL to keep up with the demand. Look forward to our second season of being open!

Video Editing and Content

H4Distribution has assisted and directed its marketing videos used both on digital platforms and also TV through Golf Channel and other media outlets. We have worked on various advertising budgets, written commercials and professionally edited 15, 30 second and 60 second commercial. Video is more important than ever and we have the team put in place to provide editing services on current content and consult to provide you with both local TV contacts and National TV Spots.

H4Distribution increases Wellputt sales through traditional retail and digital sales

Problem

In todays competitive market place more than ever new brands have a challenge finding the right way to take there product to the market. It is challenging because each product and each market is so different. There is no clear path to maximize your sales, rather a challenging road to achieve the success you are expecting. With Wellputt we had the same problems any new brand or product faces in a new market. Who and where do we sell this product to? Do we focus on just the traditional brick and mortar or try different ways to get the brand out to the mainstream.

Solution

We decided to diversify our sales efforts by going after the large national retailers such as PGA Tour Superstore. In addition to the traditional retailers we also sold Wellputt products to the online retailers who were growing and offering a variety of golf products to their customer base. We also worked with Revolution Golf to sell through a lot of product through their engaged community. All three sales channels led to getting the brand exposure and sales Wellputt was expecting.

Results

After hiring the right sales team and specialist in the given channels we were able to create sales increase year over year of 40 %. With in only 3 years of distributing this product in the USA and Canada, we were able to get the product in the national stores nationwide and continue to get sell through with the online stores.

H4 Distribution adds a Putting Lab to create an unforgettable experience while selling Argolf Putters

Problem

There is a reason there are not a lot of high end putters companies emerging into the marketplace. This space is owned by Scotty Cameron and has a few others in the mix. Companies such as Titleist (Scotty Cameron) have the marketing budget and reach to sell putters at a high price point to the end consumer. We knew we had a high quality putter in Argolf, but now had to get creative to develop an experience to create the demand.

Solution

Without having the marketing budget of Titleist, we had to find a way to create excitement. Fortunately, we live in arguably the golf capital of the world, Jupiter, FL and adjacent to our warehouse and office space, there was a space open. The easy part was finding the space. Next steps were how do we separate the Argolf Putting Lab from our local fitters. Through our tour rep we were introduced to an industry veteran with a vast amount of fitting experience and golf club knowledge. H4 Distribution consulted Argolf through the hiring process. While going through the hiring process, the H4 Distribution spent hours researching and ultimately finding the right putting launch monitor. Argolf ended up purchasing the Quintic Ball Roll system. The closest facility to having this Quintic system was in Miami an hour and a half away, and Orlando 2 hours away, so we knew having Quintic will help draw people into the putting lab and create the Argolf Experience. Once the costumer was in the Putting Lab, they learned about their putting stroke and ball characteristics, ultimately leading to an Arolf Putter sale. Through helping assist with building the lab, to hiring the professional fitter, to guiding Argolf into purchasing the right technology we now had an experience to offer to our local golfing community.

Results

Through leading the marketing efforts on local TV buys to editing the local TV commercial and our sales team going golf course to golf course promoting the new Argolf Putting lab, we were able to create traffic in the lab quickly. By the third month of the lab being in business we created over sales in the 5 digits.

H4 Distribution helps Easy Glove solve a problem in the inventory intensive Golf Glove category

Problem

The golf glove business is no doubt a commodity in the golf industry. Many of the large OEMís tag their logo on their gloves to sell in to their account list to increase average order per account and to create brand awareness amongst their core customer, the golfer. The problem is with custom gloves and sizing, these OEMís force a large minimum order on their accounts to commit to, leaving the merchandiser, buyer or owner with excess inventory they will never be able to sell!

Solution

H4 Distribution worked with Easy Glove on changing their sized glove to a one size fits all glove. Easy Glove now offers a one size fits all ladies fit and a one size fits all menís fit. One Size, your size approach takes stress off of the buying decision. We also offer low minimums as we are not concerned about the first order, but more interested in creating the working relationship and servicing your 7th or 8th re order. We can customize the ball marker, the entire top portion of the glove or both! We also have some generic styles for Ladies Fashion and our very popular USA Flag glove.

Results

We have received many tournament orders from this new one size fits all glove. It helps the tournament buyer not have to worry about getting all the sized gloves from each tournament participant. Itís a great tournament gift and works well across the board for tournament budgets. On the golf course side, our Ladies Fashion glove has been successful. With this product being new to the market we look forward to a strong 2018 in both golf shops and as tournament gifts.
